NAÏMA FRANK
Naïma Frank is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter of Haitian origin, emerging as one of the rising voices of Québec’s new R&B wave. Her musical universe, blending alternative R&B, pop, and electro with hip-hop and jazz influences, highlights a writing style that is both vulnerable and assertive. Through intimate and striking lyrics, she explores themes of feminine struggle and empowerment, carried by a voice that is both gripping and mesmerizing.
She first came to public attention in 2021 after winning the Duo avec ton idole contest at the Francos de Montréal. The following year, she self-produced her debut EP Petite fille devient grande, which Radio-Canada named one of the “10 albums that flew under the radar.” Tracks such as Tu vas où, T’es la reine, and Lola gained strong media and radio support (Le Devoir, TVA, RDI, ICI Musique, SiriusXM, PalmarèsADISQ, CISM, CHOQ).
Since then, Naïma has multiplied her stage appearances, performing at Francos de Montréal, Santa Teresa, RIDEAU, Vue sur la Relève, Haïti en Folie, ST-ROCH XP, FEQ, and more. Along the way, she has collected 12 awards at Vue sur la Relève, the RADAR Grant (M for Montréal, Mundial Montréal), and the CHOQ Prize for Best Music Video at the Festival Filministe. Her 2024 single Amnésie, a collaboration with Fovelle, entered heavy rotation on Rouge FM.
In 2025, she was a semi-finalist at both Francouvertes and the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, as well as a finalist for the Félix-Leclerc Prize (SOCAN). She continues her ascent with a bold new album, 18 ans et +, set for release on January 2026.
