BRIGA
Recipient of the Galaxie Rising Star award and nominated in 2018 at the JUNOS, Gala ADISQ and Canadian Folk Music Awards, Briga is the daughter of a Quebecois mother and a Polish father. Both simple and colorful, traditional and innovative, her music is inspired by the sounds of Eastern Europe, Balkan groove and The Maghreb.
RAYANNAH
A one-woman band blending acoustic and electronic elements, Franco-Manitoban artist Rayannah uses loop pedals to build layered sequences with her voice, percussion, beatboxing, and synthesizers, creating a distinctive electro-soul sound.
Following the critically acclaimed release of her debut album Nos repaires, she returns with Trame, an electro-experimental project presented as both an album and an immersive live performance. Combining synthesizers, impressionistic piano, rich sonic textures, and asymmetrical rhythms, the work offers a multisensory experience enhanced by Stéphanie Kuse’s projections on a giant cube within which Rayannah performs.
NAÏMA FRANK
Naïma Frank is a singer-songwriter who blends alternative R&B, pop influences, and an undefinable je-ne-sais-quoi. She is regarded as a rising artist in the new wave of R&B. Riding this momentum, she swept 12 awards at the Vue sur la Relève Festival and received the CISM Grant from the RADAR series, presented by M for Montreal and Mundial Montréal. She also won the CHOQ Award at the Filministe Festival for Best Music Video with T’es la reine.
